Nocturnal
Individual project | Art | 2018-2020Losing the sun,
they are hiding, murmuring;
they are turning, whispering.
Nocturnal captured the activity of plant life after dark and punctuated by imaging manipulation elements.
Experimenting with light, colour, selective inversions and other digital technologies to manipulate both visual and spatial perceptions, this project attempted to disturb the digital conditions and inherent verisimilitude of photography. Defamiliarizing and transforming nocturnal plant life by divulging and exposing that which is hidden in darkness.
